Ons API Dashboard - passing development stages
During the development of a connector, the following stages are traversed per version per connector:
- Pre-development
- Development
- Staging
- Production
Background Information
Actions
The supplier performs a series of actions to move to the next development stage. These always follow the following pattern:
- Current development stage
- Enter/Modify data
- Request rollout to next stage
request development access
/request rollout to [name stage]
- Assessment by Nedap with approval/rejection
- In case of rejection: return to ‘Enter/Modify data’
- In case of approval: Next development stage reached.
Communication and Follow-Up
With each transition to the next stage, there is an assessment by Nedap. Once a request has been evaluated by Nedap, the supplier receives an email with the verdict. In the event of rejection, the reason for rejection is provided. Read this reason, make the necessary adjustments, and request access to the next stage again.
Rollback to previous stage
It is only possible during ‘staging’ to ‘revert’ the status of the connector, namely with the Rollback to development
button. While the term ‘rollback’ suggests that the stage is reversed, a new version is actually created where the technical and functional designs are copied to, with the status set to ‘development’.
Usage in Environments
To test/use the connector, certificates are required. See: Managing and using certificates.
